Have you ever wanted to don a pair of waders and head into the waters for a cranberry harvest while cranberries bob and float all around you? Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a cranberry farmer during the harvest? If so, we have a unique opportunity for you...to actually help in our water harvest in October 2015 (we usually start the weekend after Columbus Day)
There are a limited amount of opening for participants, who will put on a pair of waders, grab a pusher, and head into the cold waters of cranberry harvesting! You will help corral (“boom”) cranberries and get them pumped into the tractor trailer trucks to the processor.
Each participant will get a 3-hour experience of water harvesting along with:
- lunch (one lobster roll, cup of clam chowder, and drink)
- 10# box of fresh (dry harvested) cranberries to bring home
- use of a pair of waders and gloves
- newly found muscles and exercise
Openings are limited and $75 per person (or $125 per couple). Deadline for signup is June 30, 2015.
Payment can be made via PayPal on our Products page.
